These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Portunus Limited’s mobile application, named Portunus.
By accessing this mobile app we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Portunus if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person log on this mobile application and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Ireland. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.
Unless otherwise stated, Portunus Limited and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on Portunus. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from Portunus for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.
You must not:
- Republish material from Portunus
- Sell, rent or sub-license material from Portunus
- Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from Portunus
- Redistribute content from Portunus
This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof.
Portunus Limited reserves the right to delete a ban a client account, in case their actions and behavior is considered inappropriate, offensive or causes breach of these Terms and Conditions.
Request access to our Content
Government agencies may request content and information from our mobile application. These organizations cannot link or access any user information from our application since all data in end to end encrypted.
At Portunus, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This section contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Portunus and how we use it.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Portunus Limited does not collect or requires any personal information for the client to be able to use the application. Client profile is anonymous and user is only requested to select a user name upon registration.
Client has the right to request to be completely removed from the mobile application at any point in time, by contacting us on firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. If you wish to be informed what Personal Information we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us.
Portunus follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log client activity when they register and user your application. The information collected by log files is completely anonymous and does not link to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is to monitor the application usage and behavior.
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
Portunus does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately on email@example.com and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
This mobile application is a beta version. Portunus does not warrant:
- That the application’s functionality, services or content will be uninterrupted or free of errors or omissions.
The data and information are not stored anywhere on our mobile application and hence Portunus will not able to retrieve this data in the event it gets lost for any reason. It is the client’s responsibility to export their account settings in an encrypted format and store it on another device or location. Client will be able to restore and access their account on our mobile application using the exported settings. We therefore recommend the client to immediately export their account settings after entering asset data and the process is complete. These settings should be exported to an assessible location that is not on the mobile phone.
Client should be extra careful when entering their data assets, mistyping, extra punctuation or the addition of a space before or after the information will result is generating different data when recovered. Portunus shall have no liability for any such issues as it is the Client is responsible for entering the asset as is.
The mobile application, services and content are provided “As Is” and “As Available”. As long as the mobile application and the information and services on the same application are provided free of charge, we will not be liable for any loss or damage of any nature.
